Presenting our first show since Dude! It’s Boulder in November of 2019. We celebrate that which makes the world go round. Love! Love is what’s carried us through this pandemic, and love is what has soothed our bumps and bruises as we travel that still-rocky road.
The Last Romance, by the Tony award-winning playwright Joe DiPietro, reveals the profound transformations wrought by the power of love in the golden years.
A widower sees a beautiful older woman one day in a dog park, and tries this best to win her over. She resists, but is drawn by his good humor and her own longings. Fraught with uncertainty, family struggles, and the shadow of mortality, the play charts the couple’s own rocky road to romance.
The Last Romance opens on November 12th at 7 pm, and continues November 13th & 14th at 2 pm, November 19th at 7 pm, and November 20th & 21st at 2 pm. Performances will be at the Dairy Arts Center at 2590 Walnut Street in Boulder.
Tickets are $20 students and seniors, and $25 general admission. Tickets are now available on the Dairy website, or by calling the box office at 303-444-7328.
