VIVA at the Library presents Roman Fever, a reading of Edith Wharton’s beloved short story. August 19th at 2 pm!
The setting of Roman Fever is a terrace overlooking the ruins of the ancient Forum in Rome. The sight of the Forum brings back memories of a long-ago visit, some painful and some cherished, for two American women traveling with their attractive young daughters. The tension between the two builds as they remember the events there that shaped both of their lives, culminating in a surprise ending.
Presented by Kate Gulliver, who last graced the VIVA stage during its 2018 production of The Dining Room.
