Come join us on January 14th for an evening of improv taught by Rachel Trueblood.
Rachel is a graduate of the Voodoo School of Comedy in Denver (yes, it’s a real place…) She was last seen in Viva Theater’s Westward the Women, stealing scenes in the role of the dastardly cowboy Katt.
Rachel says, “If your funny bone hasn’t had any exercise for a while, this workshop will really get it up and running!”
Improv is a form of live theater in which plot, character, and dialogue are all made up in the moment – and hilarity often ensues.
This beginner-level workshop will provide enough structure to guarantee success without putting anyone on the spot. Rachel will guide you from goofy warmups to collaborative games to creating short scenes.
It won’t be physically challenging, and participants may remain seated if desired. You may choose to just observe the process, but participation will make the experience more fun!
